Minutes of Float Fishermen of Virginia Foundation Meeting
In attendance:

Bill Tanger – President
Susan Richardson – Treasurer
Bob Born – Secretary
Jim Garner - Director
Rick Mattox - Registered Agent
Larry Born – FFV President

Susan brought papers to be submitted to bank to open an account. These papers were filled out and signed, then notarized by Juanita Tanger. Officers approved to sign on the FFV Foundation bank account are: 

William Tanger, President
Susan M. Richardson, Treasurer
J. W. Garner, Director

Bill Tanger requested the secretary to locate and acquire copies of the tax exempt papers and the tax ID number. 

The recent trip to Arcadia to look at a piece of property on James River was discussed in detail. This is 11.026 A. at an asking price of $44,000. Three options were considered.

1) Buy and hold in partnership with other individuals. 
2) Form another group to buy (22 persons @ $2000 - 15 persons @ $3000).
3) FFV Foundation raise money to buy and hold property.

Would it be more advantageous for the Foundation to acquire the land via donations from members? Jim Garner brought up the point that we need to get the word out to the corporate sponsors and to individuals about the foundation. 

The board after discussion decided to bring the motion before Float Fishermen of Virginia and ask FFV to clarify the mission of the Foundation.
