Float Fishermen of Virginia Foundation Minutes

The Foundation President asked for a status report on the sale of FFVF raffle tickets. The group agreed we really need to work hard at this to sell all the tickets by Memorial Day 2005. Foundation members passed a motion to recommend that FFV give FFV Certificates of Appreciation to Rick Roth, John Tippett and FORVA. These persons/organizations were runners-up as nominees for the Randy Carter Award for 2004. The Foundation also passed a motion to ask FFV to circulate a formal announcement to solicit Randy Carter Award Nominees from others in the outdoor community. It was discussed that any nominee’s references/vita should be submitted to FFV by Labor Day giving the club time to review this information for the next year’s nominations. Jim Garner gave the FFVF treasurers report.
